The Own Touch Mentee and FutsalRVA academy programs have produced some of the nation's best national team players including Nic Taitague and Chris Durkin, both professional soccer players in Europe. The programs have also produced several players currently on MLS development academy teams, and several players in national team pools. Over 70 collegiate players, both men and women, have come through the programs including seven US Futsal National team players. We currently have over 70 boys and girls playing for Richmond United, the premier development academy in the region, many of whom are considered top players regionally and nationally. All of these players have been a part of the Own Touch and FutsalRVA family since we opened our doors 11 years ago and have taken full advantage of the opportunities available to them.
